Individual warranty conditions
The amendment of the government decree 151/2003 (IX.22.) on Consumer Protection entered into force on 1 January 2021. Thus, the conditions of the mandatory warranty applicable to certain durable consumer goods when sold to consumers in Hungary have changed
(Consumer: a natural person acting outside the scope of his profession, independent profession or business activity - Civil Code. Part 3 of Section 1 of Article 8:1. )
There are manufacturers that require individual customer service from resellers so that the warranty conditions of consumer sales are complied with in accordance with the GTC. A list of these manufacturers and the reseller's activities can be found below.
For 250 000 Ft consumer-priced products, a 3-year warranty extension is available for purchase. The reseller is responsible for ordering the necessary warranty extension for their 31 December closing stock. To do this, the reseller is to send the list of product items (SKU) and the exact serial number to their dealer.
The price of the warranty extension is 3710 HUF for a Consumer Notebook, 7420 HUF for a Gaming Notebook (prices are valid up to an exchange rate of 358 HUF/1 Euro).
In case the reseller does not wish to purchase the warranty extension, we will take back the unopened products from them.
Based on the GTC, HRP assumes no liability for the 3-year warranty for notebook sold after 1 January 2021 for over 250 000 HUF or any subsequent problems caused by an un-purchased warranty extension.
The manufacturer provides the products with a 2-year warranty. In case of sale to the consumer, the purchase of a third-year warranty extension is required for devices sold at a price above 250,000 HUF, which is the responsibility of the reseller.
The warranty period in the case of consumer purchases corresponds to the value limits defined by the relevant legal act. For non-consumer purchases, the following warranty periods are provided by the manufacturer:

As of 1 January 2021, after the entry into force of the amendment of the government decree 151/2003 (IX. 22), Samsung Inc's warranty conditions for the products sold by them are as follows:

In the 10,000-100,000 HUF category, the extended plus 1-year Samsung warranty applies only to the repair of the product. Furthermore, in case of replacement of the main part after the basic warranty period, the limitation period of the warranty claim does not restart. The extended Samsung warranty does not cover accessories sold with the product or the built-in battery.
After 1 January 2021, all products will be shipped with the new warranty card containing the above conditions.

For some components, the manufacturer's warranty does not cover the longer warranty specified by law for the device sold as one unit. In these cases, the required extension can be ordered for a surcharge of 5% per annum for a maximum of 3 years (1+1 year). The following items can fall into this category in the manufacturer's selection: motherboards, housings, barebone computers, raid controllers, ethernet cards and modules, backplanes, power modules and electronics, and all devices that are listed in the manufacturer's offer and in the HRP webshop with a 1-year basic warranty!
